Effects of kinase inhibitors on L. pneumophila-induced tyrosine phosphorylation in monocytes. Cell lysates were prepared and resolved by SDS–7.5% PAGE and immunoblotted with mouse antiphosphotyrosine antibody 4G10. The secondary antibody used was a goat anti-mouse IgG-peroxidase conjugate. The positive control was A431 cells which had been stimulated with epidermal growth factor for 5 min to induce phosphorylation of the receptor, as well as other cellular proteins.
