Analyses are presented as HR and their 95 % CI. Individuals in the healthiest category were used as the referent. Model 1: was adjusted for age, sex, zone of residency and educational level; model 2: as per model 1 but additionally for diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol: model 3 as per model 2 but additionally for BMI. A 2-year landmark was carried out as a sensitivity analysis, excluding people who died during the first 2-year of follow-up.
