Pipeline approach

The proposed pipeline design has the role of aligning methods to create and operate on a common description of the phenomenon of interest. By integrating data from heterogeneous sources on the input side and extracting a variety of common output metrics on the output side, this pipeline approach forms a basis for rigorous comparisons. The pipeline is built on existing tools and standards, e.g., data and metadata representation, file formats, standard packages and implementations, environment handling, and workflow management. The catalog of applicable methods is flexibly extendable, making the analysis pipeline adaptable and reusable.
