X-axis represents subscales from the Early Trauma Inventory-Self Report (ETI), representing general (range 0–11 items), physical (0–5 items), emotional (0–5 items), sexual (0–6 items), and total (0–27) traumas reported as having happened before the age of 18. Data were converted to the mean percent of scale (MPE, mean traumas as a percent of possible endorsements) on the Y-axis to allow scales to be plotted together. Bars represent current OUD severity, including none (open), mild (light gray), moderate (dark gray), and severe (black) OUD. Values compared within each trauma category using Kruskal Wallace nonparametric tests; p<.05 is significant.
