Note: Promotor activities were measured in a β-galactosidase assay in wild-type and ΔgfcR cells grown on casamino acids (CAS, 0.2%) and after induction by 5 mM D-fructose (CAS+D-fructose).
Basal promotor activity of fba was measured in cells grown on 5 mM D-glucose rather than on casamino acids. Experiments were carried out in triplicates.
