Data collection Data on elemental composition of soil and plant samples were obtained by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) using Agilent 5800 ICP-OES (Agilent Technologies, USA). Acid digestion of the samples was carried out beforehand.
Data on soil pH-value were obtained potentiometrically for aqueous (H2O) and saline (KCl) suspension at a ratio of 1:2.5 using Sartorius PB-11 (Sartorius AG, Finland). Soil organic carbon content was determined by the Tyurin's method with photometric termination, using a UNICO-1201 spectrophotometer (UNICO, USA). The content of mobile phosphorus was also determined photometrically.
