Antimicrobial susceptibility of E. coli, the most commonly isolated strain.

The rate of non-susceptibility of E. coli to the tested antimicrobial agents was high. Forty percent of the organisms were resistant to third-generation cephalosporins, and 33% were resistant or moderately resistant to levofloxacin.
