Selected VF ECG validation segment examples from six patients are displayed with algorithm-predicted probabilities for defibrillation success (return of organized rhythm following shock) and functional survival (survival with Cerebral Performance Category of 1 or 2). VF examples with good prognosis (actual outcomes of successful defibrillation and functional survival) are shown without CPR (A) and during CPR (B). VF examples with mixed prognosis (actual outcomes of successful defibrillation but no functional survival) are shown in (C) without CPR and (D) during CPR. VF examples with poor prognosis (actual outcomes of unsuccessful defibrillation and no functional survival) are shown in (E) without CPR and (F) during CPR.
