Long bone BMSCs were cultured and induced to allow osteogenic or adipogenic differentiation. ALP staining was performed 14 days after osteogenic treatment (A). The mRNA (B) and protein (C) levels of osteogenic factors were detected 72 h after induction by RT-qPCR and Western blotting, respectively. Oil red O staining was performed 5 days after adipogenic induction, (D) and the quantity of dye accumulation in the cells was measured (E).
