Four independent risk factors for mpox diagnosis were identified in this study: current HIV-PrEP use, living with HIV, ≥20 sex partners in the past 12 months, or sex in sex venues or at sex parties in the past 2 months. The number of independent risk factors accumulated by participants ranged from 0 to 3, as the first two factors (current HIV-PrEP use and living with HIV) are mutually exclusive.
