Comparison of the cell surface staining pattern of Ste6p in mutants defective in ubiquitin conjugation (ubc4,5) and endocytosis (sac6). The ubc4,5Δ and sac6 strains (SM3629 and SM2631, respectively) that bear pSM693 (2μm STE6::HA) were processed for immunofluorescence as described in Materials and Methods.
