In the following part, the boxes are “opened” in a randomized order one-by-one, displaying either a pattern or an empty box which the participant needs to remember (A2). Next, the patterns are displayed in the middle of the screen one at a time and the participant needs to indicate the box in which the pattern was located originally (A3).
