Kinase activity of ZIP kinase. HA-tagged ZIP kinase and its mutants were transiently transfected into COS-7 cells. Cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with anti-HA MAb (12CA5) and assayed for in vitro kinase activity. The upper panel shows the autophosphorylation of ZIP kinase.
