Tegument covered by a keratinized, stratified squamous epithelium, ulcerated, intermittently presenting nests of basaloid-type tumor cells at the base of the epidermis with basophilic, reduced cytoplasm, large, hyperchromatic nuclei, and a palisade arrangement of nuclei at the periphery. (B). Ulcerated epidermis intermittently presenting nests of basaloid-type tumor cells at the base with peritumoral artifact retraction and an abundant chronic inflammatory infiltrate.
