Relationships between levels of thyrotropin (TSH) consistent with hypothyroidism and neonatal pregnancy outcomes from a study of 5,840,894 women who underwent prenatal care in China. The reference group (odds ratio = 1, shown by the dotted line in each panel), contained subjects with TSH 0.37–2.49 μIU/mL. Odds ratios were adjusted for pre-pregnancy maternal age, maternal education, location, pre-pregnancy body mass index, alcohol, passive smoking, history of thyroid disease, hypertension, diabetes, history of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
