Values in the table (nanomole% by weight composition) denote means ± standard errors for four biological replicates. Means in the same row with different superscripts are indicated as significantly different (*significant at alpha = 0.05) or not significantly different (ns) between the treatments, which consisted of susceptible control (OSC) and inoculated (OSI) stem tissue; and tolerant control (CSC) and inoculated (CSI) stem tissue from 10-day old seedlings, at a significance level of α < 0.05. The lipids detected were: PA Phosphatidic acid, PE Phosphatidyl- ethanolamine, PC Choline, PG Glycerol, PS Serine, PI inositol, TG triacylglycerol, DG Diacylglycerol, LPC Lysophosphatidylcholine, LPE Lysophosphatidylethanolamine, SM Sphingomyelin, MGDG Monogalactosyldiacylglycerol, SiE Beta sitosterol, StE Stigmasterol ester, HexCer Hexosyl ceramide, Cer Ceramide, CmE Campesterol ester, AcHexStE Acylated hexosyl stigmasterol ester, AcHexSiE Acylated hexosyl  betasitosterol ester, and AcHexCmE Acylated hexosyl campesterol ester. Lipids that were not detected (ND) under the treatment conditions are indicated
