Amino acid change caused by the rfc2-1 mutation. The mutation converts leucine at position 304 into proline. The region of S. cerevisiae (Sc) Rfc2p in the vicinity of the mutation site has a high level of similarity with an appropriate region of the 37-kDa RF-C subunit of human (h). The corresponding regions of amino acid sequence of other subunits of both human and S. cerevisiae RF-C complex are shown. Identical amino acids are shown by red boxes.
