The thread is retrieved arthroscopically and exits via the anteromedial portal as a loop (green arrow, no. 2). The 2 threads of the meniscal suture are then passed into the loop (white arrow, no. 1). The 2 meniscal suture threads are then drawn back down through the tibial tunnel.
