Algorithm 1.

Step 1: Generate sample from the Birnbaum-Saunders distribution
Step 2: Compute A, B, C, S1, S2
Step 3: At the m step
(a) Simulate T~t(n1) and compute Rβ using Eq. (3)
(b) If Rβ<0, resimulate Tt(n1)
(c) Simulate Vχ2(n) and compute Rα using Eq. (4)
(d) Compute Rθ using Eq. (5)
Step 4: Repeat step 3, a total M times and obtain an array of Rθ’s
Step 5: Compute Lθ.GCI=Rθ(γ/2) and Uθ.GCI=Rθ(1γ/2)
