Selection errors as distances in Munsell space. Error was calculated as the Euclidean distance between hue, value, and 0.5*chroma settings. A value of 1 indicates the distance between two neighboring Munsell chips. Consistent illumination changes were along the daylight variation indicated in Figure 4, whereas inconsistent changes were roughly orthogonal.
