Pools expressing PLZF are delayed in the G₁ phase of the cell cycle. Vector control and PLZF-expressing 32DG/GM pool 7 cells were plated at an initial density of 5 × 10⁴/ml and grown in the presence or absence of 1.5 μg of nocadazole/ml for 48 h. Cells were stained with PI and analyzed by FACS to determine their DNA content and cell cycle phase at the start of the experiment and after 48 h of growth in the presence of nocadazole. Curves modeling the G₀/G₁, S, and G₂ compartments, derived by using the ModFit program, are shown. Cell number is plottted on the y axes, and DNA content is plotted on the x axes.
