Schematic of experimental apparatus and methods. A. Setup for application of 200 kHz EMFs. The copper coil (inner diameter = 5 cm, height = 8 cm, 3 turns, double-wrapped) was attached to an induction heater and water-jacketed. Water was circulated using a chiller loop. The coil was then fixed inside an incubator. Sleeves with seven stacked dishes were placed within the coil, five of which were situated within the coil at vertical positions labelled P1-P5. P1 was excluded due to observed temperature variability. Temperature was monitored using a fiber optic sensor in the center of the P3 dish; P3 was thus excluded as well. A separate control stack was placed away from the coil. B. Measured EF amplitude profile. Outer diameter Do = 35 mm is overlaid. C.
