Deletion analysis of BAX by yeast two-hybrid system. Various BAX NH2- or COOH-terminal truncations in DBD vector pBTM were tested against BAX, BCL-2, BCL-XL, and MCL-1 in the AD vector pACTII. Pairs of DBD and AD vectors were transformed into yeast strain L40 and plated on medium without Trp or Leu.
