The BCP analogue 115 of arene 116, a p-38 kinase inhibitor65, was prepared via the selective functionalization sequence: 1) cyanation; 2) hydrolysis and esterification; 3) arylation; 4) hydrolyses and amide couplings. The physicochemical and ADME properties for both compounds were profiled.
