Cox regression model was used with sex and time from T2DM diagnosis to insulin prescription or T2DM complications in a year. For the insulin prescription prediction, participants were classified into two groups according to a percentile of PRS: top decile and remaining ( 90%). T2DM complications include myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral artery disease, and kidney disease. T2DM: type 2 diabetes mellitus.
