Using ELISA, aqueous soluble and insoluble Aβ1–40 and Aβ1–42 were measured. AD Insoluble and soluble Aβ1–40 and Aβ1–42 after 3 days. EH Insoluble and soluble Aβ1–40 and Aβ1–42 after 30 days. IL Insoluble and soluble Aβ1–40 and Aβ1–42 after 120 days. The results are expressed as the mean ± SEM for n = 6–8. Unpaired Student’s t-tests was used to analyze the differences between control and sepsis groups at each time point. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01 compared to controls.
