Metabolic activity of macrophages following Hp/Hb/Hb-Hp treatments. Macrophages were treated with or without 0.2 mg/mL of Hp, Hb, or Hb-Hp complexes, concurrently with 1 μg/mL of LPS. After 24 hours of treatment, metabolic activity was measured using the Alamar Blue assay.
