Antibiotic administration alters the abundance of gut microbiota in the asthma mouse model. (A) Evaluation of differential species in the mouse gut microbiota using LDA and LEfSe analysis. The non-parametric factorial Kruskal-Wallis sum-rank test was used to determine significant differences in abundance. (B) LEfSe analysis examines the degree of contribution of the abundance of each component (species) to different effects. In this experiment, a log LDA score threshold of 4.0 was utilized to determine significant taxonomic differences between groups. LDA was performed to analyze species information associated with a significantly increased abundance of species within each group relative to other species. LDA, linear discriminant analysis; LEfSe, linear discriminant analysis effect size; OVA, ovalbumin; ABX, antibiotics.
