aData are from a mobile-based ecological momentary assessment study assessing the validity of a novel delay discounting tool between 2020 and 2021. Participants were US adults recruited from social media. An example of a time-selection item is “How long would you be willing to wait to get US $100 instead of US $50 today?” An example of a monetary-selection item is “How much money would you take today instead of US $100 in a year?”

bLinear regression models adjusted for number of completed surveys and participant sex and age. Delay discounting rates are log-transformed.
