Extended Data Fig. 10 — Exposures of SBS40 and ID5 are correlated for both MuSiCal- (top) and PCAWG-derived (middle) signature assignments in kidney and bladder cancers, which are the only tumor types where SBS40 is assigned by MuSiCal. PCAWG also assigns SBS40 in many other tumor types (bottom), where a strong correlation is not observed. Pearson correlation coefficients are shown for both absolute (left) and relative (right) exposures (normalized by mutation burden). Error bands (shaded areas) indicate 95% confidence intervals of the linear regressions.
