Synthesis of Eu₆L₆ circular helicate (Eu–1) from L1 and europium(III) triflate. The highest symmetry isomer of Eu–1 is shown for simplicity, however, NMR analysis indicates a mixture of isomers coexist in solution (Supporting Information S4.2). The Eu₆L₆ model was generated using Avogadro ^[12] and does not include counterions or solvent molecules.
