The number of deaths in the LDL-c of <2 mmol/L (n = 451), 2–<3 mmol/L (n = 3 542), 3–<4 mmol/L (n = 5 957), and ≥4 mmol/L (n = 2 384) categories were 71, 424, 529, and 226, respectively. LDL-c = low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol.
