Overview of the different experimental groups. E+ piglets were born from three PRRSV-vaccinated, responding sows. E− piglets were born from three PRRSV-vaccinated, non-responding sows. All piglets were intranasally challenged at 6 weeks of age (woa) with 2 mL containing 10^5.5 TCID₅₀/mL of the PRRSV-1 07V063 strain.
