Open circles indicate females, closed circles indicate males. Analysis revealed increased expression of A) AKT1, B) AKT2, C) AKT3, D) FOXO1, E) PTEN, F) PDPK1, H) PHLPP2, and I) PPP2CA (*p<0.05). There was no significant change in gene expression of G) PHLPP1 in schizophrenia subjects compared to controls. Data are log-transformed and analyzed using either Student’s t-test or Welch’s t-test. Data expressed as mean +/− SEM, n=15–20/group.
