Normal: subjects with normal relative strength. 1-4: Statistically significant difference compared to those performed with the perceptual value indicated by that number (i.e., 1: 40%1RM; 2: 55%1RM; 3: 70%1RM; 4: 85% 1RM). * Very significant differences (p < 0.01) with the first repetition in each intensity. † Significant differences (p < 0.05) in the same intensity when normal relative strength subjects were compared to their higher counterparts in each variable. MPV: mean propulsive velocity; PMAX: maximum power. The perceived exertion is measured through the Resistance Intensity Scale for Exercise, with numerical values [[1], [2], [3], [4], [5]]: 1 = easy; 2 = low; 3 = moderate; 4 = hard; 5 = maximal).
