Transduced reporter gene expression in postmitotic cells. Differentiated PC12 cells were infected at a multiplicity of ∼0.8 in a single well of a P24 culture dish, and 2 days later, the cells were fixed and stained for pHSVlac-derived β-galactosidase reporter gene activity by using X-Gal histochemistry.
