These three cases of moderate to severe TBI with DAI show progressive atrophy years after injury. (A-C) In each one of the three cases, left-side panels contain midsagittal T1 sequences to illustrate atrophy of the corpus callosum and right-side panels contain corresponding frontal coronal T1 or FLAIR sequences showing evidence of severe DAI as indicated with gliding contusions (arrows, A and B) or gross shearing in the corpus callosum (arrow in C).
