Table 2.

The achromatic datasets used in our study. Asterisks (*) mark cases where the data were obtained directly from the authors. In the remaining cases, the data were scanned from plots in the relevant publication. All listed datasets measured contrast sensitivity using contrast detection tasks. For datasets with more than one observer where individual data were provided, the expected interobserver variability (standard deviation) within each condition in dB is shown along with the number of observers.
