(a) Experimental schedule of BAN-ORL 24 administration: 9-day-old female and male pups were administered the blood brain barrier permeable NOR antagonist BAN-ORL24 (1mg/kg/day, IP) or vehicle (controls). Animals were sacrificed at postnatal day 14, and the cerebral hemispheres analyzed for the expression of MBP, MAG and MOG, using β-actin levels as loading controls. The figure shows representative western blots for the female (b-c) and male (e-g) pups.
