Rheological properties of alginate-based bioinks at concentrations of (A) 10 wt%, (B) 12 wt% and (C) 15 wt%. The viscosity is plotted over a shear rate from 15 s−1 to 80 s−1, demonstrating the shear-thinning behavior of the bioinks. At the same alginate concentration, the addition of β-TCP to the bioink had a statistically significant difference compared to bioink without β-TCP (P < 0.05) at the low shear rate region. β-TCP: β-tricalcium phosphate.
