PDT-vaccine was generated as described for Fig. 1 except that in vitro cultured Lewis lung cells were used instead of SCCVII. Mice (wild type and C3KO) bearing Lewis lung tumors were vaccinated using the procedure also described in Fig. 1. The treatment response was determined by subsequent tumor size measurement and comparison to the growth of sham-treated control tumors growing in the respective host type.
