Amino acid sequences of humanized 1A12 antibody heavy (a) and light (b) chain variable regions. 1A12VH and 1A12VL indicate heavy and light chain variable regions of murine 1A12 monoclonal antibody, respectively. The heavy chain variable region of human antibody CAA79298 was chosen as framework for the humanized heavy chain and the light chain variable region of human antibody BAC01734 was chosen for the humanized light chain. hu1A12VHa and hu1A12VHc indicate different versions of humanized heavy chain variable regions. hu1A12VLa and hu1A12VLf indicate different versions of humanized light chain variable regions. The dashes represent amino acids that are the same as the corresponding residues in human antibodies CAA79298 or BAC01734. The CDRs are enclosed with brackets. Amino acids (in one-letter notation) are numbered according to Kabat et al. [31]
