Eph-NPs immunization tended to require CD8+ T cells, but not CD4+ T cells and NK cells in preventing liver tumor. Ab-mediated in vivo depletion of CD4+, CD8+ T cells, NK cells were performed (as described in “Materials and methods”), with the depleted mice then receiving Eph-NPs intraperitoneally (on day −7, 0) and 1 × 106 MC38 cells intrahepatically (day 0).
