Tumor-conditioned medium diminishes CD34⁺ cell development into CD205⁺ dendritic cells through a VEGF-independent pathway. CD34⁺ cells were seeded under conditions to support myeloid cell growth in the presence or absence of 40% tumor-conditioned medium. After 7 days, they were detached and immunostained for CD205.
