CD14 and CD1a expressions by monocytes after induction of differentiation in the presence of neutralizing anti-IL-1β. Monocytes isolated from healthy volunteers were incubated with IL-4 and GM-CSF in the presence of K562 supernatant (SN K562), exogenous IL-β (10 ng/mL) and neutralizing anti-IL-1β (3 μg/mL). The neutralizing antibody was added to the monocytes in the first day or in the first and in the third days (2×) of culture. After 5 days, CD14 and CD1a expressions were analyzed by flow cytometry.
