CDR3 sequences of TCRα and β chains from the CD4 CTL clone T1/B9. Total RNA from T1/B9 was extracted and subjected to RT-PCR and cloned as described under “Materials and methods.” Ten colonies with inserts of each amplified-TCRα or β chain were sequenced and the consensus sequence is shown. The CDR3 and adjacent sequences, the last three residues of the V region and the first three residues from the conserved phenylalanine in the J region, are depicted.
