Lm-LLO-E7–pulsed DCs give better protection than Lm-E7–pulsed DCs against TC-1 challenge. Lm-LLO-E7 enhances in vivo antitumor response. Bone marrow–derived DCs (10⁶/ml) were pulsed with 10⁹ CFU/ml of Lm-E7 or Lm-LLO-E7 in RPMI 1640 medium without antibiotics. After 1 h incubation, 50 μg/ml of gentamicin was added. After 30 min, cells were washed and cultured in antibiotic-free medium for 4 h. After washing twice with PBS, 1×10⁵ pulsed DCs, unpulsed DCs, or PBS alone was mixed with 2×10⁵ TC-1 cells and injected s.c. in the left flank of C57BL/6 mice.
