Six 10-d-old seedlings grown at 32°C or 25°C were sampled for analysis of the amount of UDP-GlcNAc using HPLC. The amount of UDP-GlcNAc was analyzed with the chromatography software program Chemistation 2170AA (Agilent 1100, LC system), according to the peak area. The data represent averages of three repeats of root samples with the mean sd. FW, Fresh weight; +GlcN-6-P, supplemented with 10 mm GlcN-6-P for 6 h before being sampled.
