DROPPS workflow for low-input protein digestion

Cells are deposited onto Teflon-coated slides by fluorescence-activated cell sorting or standard pipette. Cell transfer buffer is evaporated, and slides can be optionally stored at −80°C. Cell lysis and protein digestion are performed with MS-compatible reagents in a simple humidity chamber. Samples are transferred to standard sample vials or plates and analyzed by LC-MS for quantitative proteomic analysis.
