  I have had lymph nodes removed and/or had radiotherapy but there is no swelling (edema) (stage 0).
  There is swelling (edema) present which does not return to original place when pressed down. It goes away with limb elevation or rest (stage 1).
  There is swelling (edema) that does not resolve after limb elevation and skin fibrosis (thickening of the skin) develops (stage 2).
  There is swelling (oedema) that does not go away. Skin fibrosis is permanent and there are also cysts and ulcers present (stage 3).
